And, it's kinda one of those "gotchas" right? You absolutely need the usb or at one time it was the parallel cable to get the printer hooked to the computer. So, it's not like you can make do without it!&lt;br&gt;Glad you were able to find one relatively inexpensive on Amazon and you must be commended for choosing a Canon product. Regardless of their inability to provide usb cord with their printers they do still make some of the best inkjet printers around. I personally like the i and s series printers they are far superior to the Pixma iP series they are making today. But, then again this is the way of all printer manufacturers today. They are making a cheaper product that only last 2-5 years as opposed to their previous models that would print beautifully for 15-20 years given you do the maintenance.</description><dc:creator xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">Printerfixer</dc:creator><pubDate>Wed, 23 Jul 2008 18:41:34 -0000</pubDate></item></channel></rss>
