There’s More to Social Business Than Twitter and Facebook
I liked this point: "There is a lot of potential here for Involver but all of the responsibility for a successful video launch should not rest solely on their shoulders. In order for a brand or company to succeed with their video launch they need to be smart about their marketing. It’s not enough to just use Involver to put up a bunch of videos. You need a strategy behind it and you have to be creative."
The nice surprise for me has been seeing how many savvy people there are out there, who are able to put on a strategic hat and really build a great campaign. It has been a true pleasure for us to take the experience from hundreds of campaigns and help our clients build incredibly successful campaigns.
Thanks again for the awesome write-up! I hope we can continue the conversation here as new knowledge comes to light.
Cheers,

I run Brief Attention Span Communications - a viral marketing agency that has been driving awareness campaigns for clients primarily through YouTube. But we've had a difficult time turning those views into genuine leads. So it will be really interesting to see how the Involver video campaign platform can improve on that - by giving viewers instant gratification within the video itself - and turning those casual views into valued clickthroughs.
I've been following the Serena Software B2B campaign ("Go @#$% Yourself") Involver is hosting now on Facebook - views already over 700,000+. The previous Serena effort ("Just @#$% IT") recieved 1.2 million views on YouTube but will bet that the Involver/Facebook effort is driving more traffic.

thanks for the comment, i'm glad to know that you feel i did involver justice, you guys have an interesting product and im curious to see how it develops
@tina
involver would be a great tool to build relationships and increase conversions. the interactivity built into the involver feature set is extremely powerful and robust, marketers should be jumping at this.
@gregory
thanks for the comment, glad you enjoyed the right up. the serena software campaign has been doing quite well. quite frankly youtube is not designed to generate leads. ive worked with large brands who were always seeking to upload all sorts of videos to youtube to bring in leads, and quite frankly that is not what youtube is good at. you need the ability to interact instantly and you need the ability to customize those interactions, youtube can't do it, involver can
thanks everyone for the comments and for reading!
Thanks!
